Voni Leighton

Co Founder and Clinical Director, Vitalis Healthcare at Home

With over 30 years of clinical leadership experience, Voni is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Vitalis Healthcare at Home, a company that provides high-quality and compassionate care to patients in their own homes. She is also a Wound Fellow, a trainer and educator, and a Board member of the Hospital in the Home (HITH) Society of Australasia, where she contributes to the development and promotion of best practices and standards in the HITH sector.

Voni has a background in ICU, ED, and HITH, and she uses her operational expertise and clinical skills to design and implement successful clinical pathways and programs for Vitalis. She is passionate about leading a team of experienced and caring nurses and carers, and empowering them to deliver the best level of care to their clients. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, which enables her to understand and address the complex and diverse needs of patients and their families who wish to remain at home with dignity and assisted independence.
