Penelope leads MinterEllison’s national aged care and human services practice and is passionate about the work she does and her contribution to the sector.
She has over 20 years’ experience acting exclusively for clients in the health, aged care and disability sectors. Her broad experience in the human services sector means Penelope understands the complex policy settings, evolving legislative environment and operational settings within which sector participants engage.
Penelope is a director of Mercy Health, a not-for-profit provider of acute and subacute hospital care, aged care, mental health programs, specialist women’s healthcare, early parenting services, palliative care, home and community care. She is also a member of the Retirement Living Council’s Care and Support Sub-Committee.
Penelope is widely regarded as an industry expert, presents at many industry forums and has been recognised in Best Lawyers in Australia since 2020 in the categories of Health & Aged Care; Medical Negligence, Personal Injuries and Insurance Law.
